1. Who is The Laundry People?
The Laundry People is a company which deals in wash and fold, wash and iron, dry cleaning services, shoe cleaning and bags cleaning. We are an online store based in New Delhi.
2. How does we Operate?
We operate an online store where we take order through our website www.thelaundrypeople.in or customers can book through WhatsApp/call at 7302283838.
3. How long we take for pick-up and delivery?
Once we get the order confirmation our team arrange the pickup within 4hrs to 6hrs. We normally deliver within 24hrs from the time of pickup for Wash and Fold & Wash & Iron. Drycleaning, shoe cleaning can take up to 72hrs. Express delivery can take up to 8hrs from the time of pick up.
Any failure to deliver due to traffic and other logistics is beyond our scope and can affect the delivery timings as mentioned here.
4. What is wash and fold?
In wash & fold, clothes are washed, tumble dried, folded & packed in packaging.
5. What is wash and Iron?
In wash & iron, clothes are washed, tumble dried, steam ironed, folded & packed in premium packaging.
6. Do we provide stain removal and cuff cleaning?
Yes, we handle all types of stain removal and cuff cleaning with additional charges.
7. Do you provide pickup and delivery facilities?
Yes, we provide free doorstep pick-up and delivery services from 8 am to 8 pm and chargeable pickup and drop services before 8 am and after 8 pm.
8. Do I need to separate clothes of Laundry and Dry cleaning?
Yes, please separate the laundry & dry-cleaning clothes before handing the same to our executive.
9. How do I give special instructions for my clothes?
Please share special instructions, if any, with our executive at the time of pick up and we shall take care of them during our process.
10. When do I pay for services?
Please pay at the time of delivery. Please insist for invoice (softcopy/hardcopy) for each order.
11. How do I pay?
You can pay by credit/debit card with our payment links, Paytm, GPay, Bhartpe cash or by net banking. We recommend you pay online rather than cash to avoid cases of right change notes not available with our executive.
12. How do you manage clothes which booed COLOUR?
All the coloured clothes are subjected to a colour bleeding test before being put in our machines for washing. Those clothes which bleed colour are treated with COLOUR absorber and hand washed.
13. What if my clothes still have stains after delivery?
We will try to remove most spots & stains through our stain removal process. However, very old or strong stains may not get completely removed in one wash and may require multiple wash cycles to get removed without damaging the clothes.
14. What if my clothes are missing at the time of delivery?
